I guess I've always loved the idea of a mystery waiting to be solved, especially if it takes you half way around the world. I really wanted to give the impression that this girl was on to something interesting. What is she looking for, could be gold, a missing father, an acient artifact. Who knows?

I did this as a trial piece many years ago, but finally got around to coloring it. This was the first photoshoped piece I ever colored. I ended up getting to do an issue of X-men before I ever turned it in.
